Not true. Catholics can only read Scripture within the traditions of the Catholic Church.If those interpretations do not go outside of Sacred Tradition then a Catholic is free to interpret the Scriptures.
That is different than your earlier statement that Catholics are free to interpret Scriptures...

No it doesn't. Pretending traditions of the Catholic Church holds any authority has given Catholics nonsense like claiming Mary is the Queen of Heaven.
