How does a sheep get into a confessional?

First of all, Tan, a sacramental confession doesn't necessarily take place in a confessional. I thought you read the document??? Did you even read the first paragraph of the letter I quoted for you above? Do you comprehend what you read?

Secondly, beastiality was mentioned where it listed the things that are "joined" with the crime of solicitation in a sacramental confession to have a "worst crime" in decreeing penalties.

The whole document is referring to the crime of solicitation that takes place within the context of a sacramental confession, whether in or out of a confessional box.

Come on, Tan, if this were not true and the letter was simply instructing bishops how to cover-up a crime, people all over the world would be screaming for the Pope himself to be put on trial. Granted, there's a few ignoramuses who don't understand the document who are calling for the Pope to be put on trial, but there's not a lawyer in his right mind who understands the legalese of such a document that would take on such a ridiculous case.

Go back and read the document again, Tan, but this time with the understanding that it is referring to those penitents who were abused within the context of a sacramental confession. It is this abuse of the sacrament that is being dealt with in the letter, and not the crime itself. I'm sure there are other documents that deal with the crime intself, but the specific document we're dealing with here is not it.

God bless you
