Quote:
By the time Jesus said that it was forgivable to blaspheme Him, but unforgivable to blaspheme the Holy Spirit, He knew He was God. But He related to the humans around Him, and He was distinguishing between blaspheming a human and blaspheming God. Most of the people listening didn't yet know He was God - many thought He was the messiah, but they didn't expect the messiah to be divine. If Jesus had said, "You can blaspheme each other, but don't dare blaspheme Me or the Holy Spirit," they would have missed the point entirely.

really? there was a time Jesus did not know He was God and had to somehow learn this? from who?

at age 12 He was already astounding the religious leaders in the temple wasn't he?

and was he distinguishing between a human (presumably himself according to you) and against God (again presumably the Holy Spirit). I don't think so!

Jesus always knew He was God, actually is the creator according to John, was with the father from all time and even planned the salvation plan of the cross before He created the world.

I really did not want to comment on your response because it was so foolish and ignorent but you pushed it so there you go

Brother John
All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16)
