If we keep John chapter one in full context we will see this:

1. In the beginning was the Word.

2. And the Word was with God.

3. And the Word WAS God.

We can see these three things in the first verse.

Okay, so in the beginning we have the Word, and that Word was with God, and that Word WAS God.

So, who is the Word?

God!

Easy enough!

And all things were made by him;

who? The Word. Who is the Word? God!

And without him was not any thing made that was made.

Who is him? The Word. Who is the Word? God!

Then we can go down and see this:

"And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth." John 1:14.

Okay, now we see this Word became flesh and lived on the earth. That same Word who is God.

Jesus Christ is God!

You cannot get around it! The Bible is so clear on this.

Amen?!

Well, gotta go!

In Christ,

Deborah
