Quote:
29 For no one ever hates his own body, but he nourishes and tenderly cares for it, just as Christ does for the church, 30 because we are members of his body. 31 "For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two will become one flesh." 32 This is a great mystery, and I am applying it to Christ and the church.

just as a man and a woman become one after the consumation of marriage and thus so great a sin if this union is defiled. so too once coming to Christ as His bride to follow after others (man made religions) is equally heinous

but if we are one with the groom, if He has truely indwelt us as He promised there is no need to eat him to be in communion with him. for the true Christian already abides in Him and He in them

Brother John
All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16)
