I wanted to see what historical counterpoints youd have to this. It will take time to answer. How can I check all these facts? Im not a historian and even online you are limited. I have been looking for complete books of Augustine--they dont have those in rural libraries. I could go to town on this board, if I had access to some of the university resources I used to have. I used to hang out on Loyolas campus library and read their books. Then I was researching my non-religious related project. Couldnt check anything out but public could read the books if we are quiet and didnt cause trouble;)

You probably have a whole historical library and your textbooks from college at the very least.

Everyone keeps saying Boettner is a liar. What lie. Except for the silly stuff about candles (people needed light in the 400s)what lie did Boettner write?
