Okay! I will give testimony! I have left a church before.

The first time hubby and I left our church was because the pastor wouldn't allow my husband to serve his calling.

No kidding! He told hubby that God couldn't of called Him to do anything!

We left! Actually, it came down to be over doctrinal issues.

Then we went to another church. Husband and I was serving. Actually, we were the only one's who served! For over a year we were the door knockers, the street preachers, and the one's who would fetch those who left. Husband also filled the pulpits, put on youth revivals, ect. ect. ect.

We did all that to find that the church in no way was behind the laboring. Nobody wanted to labour. Nobody wanted to do their part. The Church rejected us, thus we went back to our local church again. Thus, the Church was dead.

The second time back, hubby and pastor talked over those issues. Husband was then able to serve out of our church. Amen?! So, we were out obtaining support doing youth work. Youth Revivals, sunday school programs, vacation Bible School and such.

The pastor came to husband and told him how to run his ministry. He says, I don't think God would like you raising support. I don't think God wants you to have prayer cards. ect. ect. I don't think God wants you to do vacation Bible schools. ect. ect. Husband prayed and prayed. He went back to the pastor and said, "I am sorry, I am going to run the ministry as God see's fit." The pastor said that is fine, but you have to find a sending church. So, husband found one. But, we remained at our local church. Two weeks later, the pastor kicked us out of the church. So we had to go! Again!

the sending church we were at had problems we didn't know about. Thus they were dead! Icobod was on the door! Not only that, but the pastor quit! Off he went! The church failed!

Our first church, the pastor left that one too! So, we knew the new pastor and went back. Well, that church split. Sheesh!

During all of this, husband's calling had changed! He felt he was called to pastor! But, not these two churches. He never got peace!

So, husband started one in our home. We had thirteen. Amen?! Well, problems arised with that!

Husband told them, "Give me some time, and the Lord will give us a church." So, we all went to other local churches.

Then husband candidated about two months later and is now pastoring a church. And today, all of those thirteen people are now at this church with us!

We have no mortgage! It is paid for, free and clear! The only bills are electric and fuel oil. It seats about 175, and we have a huge fellowship and kitchen in basement. We also have Sunday School for children.

We never left because we were offended! Never! I have been offended many times. I stood up once on a doctrinal issue. I was told I was wrong! Well, hey the Bible says the Bible says! Amen?! That night, the preacher had preached a sermon against me. He even pointed at me and stood directly in front of me! We didnt leave.

Husband and I had some personal problems when we first got saved. The Pastor gave us counseling. At the next church time, the Pastor would preach on the very problems we talked to him about. Well, we didn't leave, but we stopped counseling! :D

We have been kicked out of Church just because we wanted to served, we had people lie against us. We had our personal issues preached against and brought forth that was to be private, we have been stabbed in the back, we even had a guy convince the pastor that he would be better doing our ministry. And the pastor fell for it.

I Just Praise the Lord for keeping us strong! I Praise God for not allowing us to give up! I Praise God for everything! As we tell those who leave because they are offended over piddly stuff, if anybody should of quit, it should of been us. But we didn't! And we didn't leave because of offense! We just Trusted in God and allowed Him to direct us! Amen?!

In Christ,

Deborah
