Hey Doug,

You said:

"Deb, John and myself take the Bible in context of itself."

If you did, then symbolically eating flesh could not mean what you claim it means in John 6. "

Hmmm? Well Doug, if you took all of the teachings in John 6 into context, you would see it wasn't literal.

But you refuse to do that.

You also refuse to take all the teachings concerning this matter of eating blood and flesh into account as well.

Scripture will never, never contradict itself.

As we know, under the Jewish law, it is forbidden to eat blood. In Corinthians, it is forbidden to eat blood. It is also forbidden to eat raw flesh, which has blood.

But, even though Scripture tells us in the O.T. and in the N.T. that we are not to do this, you say that John 6 is literal.

Sheesh! Using that natural man again, Doug? Taking John 6 is heresy, and anyone who teaches that is a heretic!

Rightly divide, compare Spiritual with Spiritual.
