OC,

Matt. 15:24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

To which you reply "In other words, taking His words quite literally, He is not sent AT ALL to us Gentile dogs..." and you are quite correct. He was NOT sent to the Gentiles as His word states.

It was after their final rejection of Jesus Christ, that He sent Paul to be the "apostle to the Gentiles" and to provoke the Jews to "jealousy":
Quote:
Acts 13:46 Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.

Perhaps the reason you had such trouble with Rom. 9:6 is that you failed to compare scripture with scripture?
Quote:
Rom. 11:1 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.

2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying,

25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

There are still three entities in God's word, the Jews, the Gentiles, and the church of God, 1 Cor. 10:32.

Rome has tried to steal that which is rightfully Israel's which should be no great revelation to anyone, afterall, harlots are not known for their honesty.
