Please know that God never intended that Israel literaly wash their feet in the blood of their enemies. this is Hebraic poetic speech
The point is that Israels, literally Gods enemies, will be totally vanquished and overthrown and in this there is to be rejoicing.
God is a sovereign and just almighty God. we are not! we are His creation, created for His good pleasure. He wishes back that fellowship lost in the garden and wants an end to the hostility.
He has provided this for us. a way to once again be right with God. first through faith in the obedience to His Holy Law and later in faith to His only begotten son who because of our disobedience paid the price for our transgression
God said do this and live, do this and die. so who is to blame for the disobedience? God? certainly not! the choice was ours all God did was in perfect justice set the parameters of our behavior.
If a parent tells a child do not touch the flame or you will be burned and the child touches it, is it the parents fault when the child gets burned???
Its all about a sovereign and Almighty God and not about what the pot think the potter should be doing
Brother John
All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16)
